  • 8 oz Macaroni elbow pasta
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter

Topping

  • 2/3 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 10 turns Crushed Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder

White Sauce

  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 3 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese, grated
  • 3/4 tsp Kosher Salt

Instructions 

  • Cooking the Pasta: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook according to package instructions. Drain, return the pasta to the pot and stir in the butter until melted.

  • Prepare the Bread Crumb Mixture: Prepare a clean bowl, add bread crumbs, melted butter and salt, mix well and set aside.
