Air fryer buffalo cauliflower is spicy, crisp, and full of flavor. The cauliflower stays tender inside and crunchy outside, coated in a bold, tangy buffalo sauce. It’s a fun and lighter way to enjoy a classic spicy snack. This dish works well for parties, game days, or quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

For the Cauliflower

  • 2/3 cup All Purpose Flour spooned and leveled
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1 Cauliflower about 2 pounds

For the Buffalo Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Hot Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter melted
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the hot sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, and paprika. Season to taste.
1/2 cup Hot Sauce, 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter, 2 1/2 tbsp Honey, 1 tsp Garlic Powder, 1 tsp Paprika
  • Clean the cauliflower and cut it into small florets.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Add water and whisk until smooth.
2/3 cup All Purpose Flour, 1/4 cup Cornstarch, 1 tsp Garlic Powder, 1 tsp Onion Powder, 1 tsp Paprika
  • Add cauliflower and stir to combine. Remove cauliflower from batter, allowing excess batter to drip back into bowl.
  • Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space around each cauliflower. Do not crowd the basket. Work in batches as needed. Place the basket back into the air fryer.
  • Set the air fryer to Roast mode at 400℉/205°C with cooking time 14 minutes. Cook the cauliflower.
  • Using tongs carefully remove the cauliflower from the air fryer to a plate or serving tray.
  • Toss the cauliflower with Buffalo sauce in a clean bowl before serving.
