Grease 7-inch round cake pans, line the bottoms with baking paper, and grease the tops. Alternatively, grease and flour the bottoms and sides of two cake pans.
Mix the oil, sugar, flour, baking powder and eggs in a bowl. Mash the bananas and mix into the batter. Mix in half of the pecans and all of the chocolate chips. Pour into the pan and sprinkle with the remaining pecans on top.

Remove the banana bread from the air fryer. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes.
Remove the banana bread from the pan and cut into pieces.
